Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Suburban, we are test fitting the detail K2 folding cargo carrier. The dimensions are 20 by 60 with a 500 pound weight capacity and the part number for that is K2HCC602. Now, we're going to first start off by taking some measurements here. Our ground clearance is going to be about 22 and a half inches. Our overall to the back of the vehicle, adding about 35 inches. Then our closest point with it in the road ready position is going to be about 14 inches there. While we're back here we're going to check our hatch clearance. The hatch does break over the carrier, we have a break over point of about 18 inches there. more

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Suburban were test fitting the curt folding 20 by 60 cargo carrier, part number for that is C18151, and it has a capacity to hold up to 500 pounds. The first thing were going to start with are our measurements here. Well head into out ground clearance, were going to have about twenty three inches in ground clearance there. Overall to the back of the vehicle were adding about thirty five inches, and our closest point its going to be about thirteen and a quarter inches there. Now we do have a lot of clearance with our hatch opening, well go ahead and check break over point here, well about sixteen and a half inches there. Now with the Suburban we do have an automatic hatch, we have turned ours off because we just want to make sure that you carefully stack any materials that youre going to have on our carrier that way. more

It's because we've got this nice raised shank back here in the back, so it's going to lift that cargo carrier up even higher than the back of your vehicle. Overall we're adding about 42 1/4 inches to the vehicle. Our closest point, the raised shank is going to be about 4 inches away from the vehicle and the actual cargo carrier is going to be about 16 1/2. more

Overall weve added about 28-3/4s of an inch to the length of our Suburban.When opening our rear hatch, it breaks over our carrier at about the 10 inch mark. more

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Suburban, we're going to be testing fitting the Sportrack 20 x 60 Folding Cargo Carrier for 2-inch hitches with a 500 pound weight capacity. It's part number SR9850. To begin our test fit, we're going to slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch, line up our pin holes, thread in our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down with a wrench. In this position, our carrier offers about 22-1/4 inches worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the back of our Suburban is about 3-1/4 inches away and overall we've added about 9-1/4 inches to the length of our vehicle. Pulling the black pin and clip at the base of the carrier will allow us to tilt it away from our vehicle into its loading position. We'll reinsert the pin to hold it in position and go over a few more measurements. Looks like we'll have about 27-1/4 inches of ground clearance here at the back of the rack. more

To begin our test fit we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch, line up our pinholes, slide through our pin, and secure it with a clip. In this position we have about 22-1/4" worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the back of our vehicle is about 6-1/2" away, and overall we've added about 12" to the length of our Suburban. Pulling the silver pin and clip at the base of the carrier will allow us to tilt it away from our vehicle into its loading position. We'll reinsert the pin to hold it here and take a couple more measurements. Here at the rear of the rack we're going to have about 27-1/4" worth of ground clearance, and overall we've added about 35-1/4" to the length of our car. more

Curt Folding Aluminum Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Chevrolet Suburban- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Suburban, were going to be test fitting the 19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2 inch hitches with a 500 pound weight capacity, its part number C18100. To begin our test fit, well slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch, line up our pin holes, slide through our pin and secure it with a clip. In this position, our carrier offers about 21 inches worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the back of our Suburban is about 2-1/4 inches away. Overall weve added about 8 inches to the length of our vehicle. Pulling the silver pin and clip located at the base of the rack will allow us to tilt it away from our vehicle into the loading position.In this position, well have about 22-1/4 inches worth of ground clearance here at the rear. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Chevrolet Suburban- Video
Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Suburban. We'll be test fitting the 17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier part number C18145. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch. After lining up the pinholes, we'll thread in our anti rattle bolt and tighten it down using a wrench. When installing, it may take a few tries to get the pinholes to align between the hitch and the carrier. With the carrier secured, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about a 20 and three quarters inches of ground clearance, closest part of the carrier, to the closest part of the vehicle, is about 3 and 3 quarters of an inch away. more

SportRack Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Chevrolet Suburban- Video
Today on our 2013 Chevy Suburban, we'll be test fitting a 20 by 60 Sport Rack Cargo Carrier for 2 inch hitches, part number SR9850. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch. After lining up the pin holes, we'll thread the anti-rattle bolt through the pin holes, and tighten it down using a wrench. With the carrier secured, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about 20 inches of ground clearance. Closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle is about 3 inches away. more

We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch. After lining up the pin holes, we'll secure it with the pinning clip. With the carrier secured, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about 24 inches of ground clearance. Closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle is about 9 and 1 quarter of an inch away. We've added about 41 and 1 quarters inches to the overall length of our Suburban. more

We'll begin our test fit by siding the shank if the carrier into the opening of the hitch. After lining up the pinholes, we'll secure it with the pinning clip. With the carrier secured, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see if the two fit together. We have about 20 and a half inches of ground clearance. Closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicles about four inches away, and we've added about 24 inches to the overall length of our Suburban. That the exhaust on this model does exit the passenger side, and faces downward about 26 inches away. more

We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch. After lining up the pin holes, we'll secure it with the pin and clip. With the carrier secured, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about 21" of ground clearance. The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle is about 6" away and we've added about 12" to the overall length of our Suburban. We can now remove the silver pin and clip at the base of the carrier and tilt the platform down. more
